Exhibitions and concerts devoted to the Azerbaijani culture and art will be held in various regions of France with support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Exhibitions and concerts devoted to the Azerbaijani culture and art will be held in various regions of France with support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Organization of a chain of events will serve strengthening cultural relations between countries, making  Azerbaijan known in the world and mutual understanding between nations.


The chain of regional events will start from the city of Reims of France. The first event will be held on 19-22 October in a historical building called Tattinger House and the Reims Conservatory in this city. Then events are expected to be held in the cities of Chalons-en-Champagne, Niort, Cognac, Romarantin-Lanthenay of France, by three days in each city.  

 

Posters designed with special style and information of local mass media about the events have already informed city residents  of the events to be held. The French will have a chance to get acquainted with Azerbaijan’s centuries-long rich heritage and culture at exhibitions to be held with support from representatives of the local municipality. Azerbaijani miniatures, ancient carpets, samples of material culture discovered during excavations, national music instruments, garments and embroidery, copper and ceramic dishes will be displayed at the exhibitions. Performance by the Azerbaijan State Chamber Orchestra, as well as of classic and national music performers have been included in the concert programs.
