12th Gabala Music Festival comes to an end

Held with the organizational support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, enjoying the support of the Education and Cultural ministries of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Baku Music Academy, the 12th Gabala Music Festival continued until August 4th.

 

Along with classical music, evenings of mugham, vocal and chamber music too were organized during the festival days. One of the most advantages of this year’s Gabala Music Festival was that teachers and students of the country’s leading music education establishments, as well as various performance groups extensively participated in it.

 

The chamber-vocal music evening realized by duet-performances of renowned artists of the republic, People’s and Honoured artists Murad Adygoezalzade and Avaz Abdulla, vocalist Gulnaz Ismayilova and composer Jeyhun Allahverdiyev, mezzo-soprano singer Farida Mammadova and composer Elnara Dadashova, with participation of laureate of republican and international contests Narmin Najafli, at the Congress Centre on August 3rd successfully closed the 12th Gabala Music Festival.
