A Cultural Heritage Forum is held
On December 18 and 19, a Cultural Heritage Forum was held, for the first time in our country, with joint organizational activities of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture.
The Forum was organized within the framework of the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
At the Forum, where extensive discussions were held with participation of well-known historians, archaeologists, artists, architects, sculptors, artisans etc., discussions were held on eternalizing, advancing and promotion of our culture and national heritage, on the existing condition, the state’s support to our material and intangible heritage, the fine arts, and applied art, historical monuments and other areas.
Panel discussions were held at the Forum on the subjects “Issues concerning the research and protection of Azerbaijan’s immovable historical and cultural heritage”, “Issues concerning the protection of Azerbaijan’s historical-cultural and natural heritage during the post-Soviet era, Intangible cultural heritage in Azerbaijan: museum activity and contemporary challenges, Protection of intangible heritage, and contemporary challenges”, “Fine arts and contemporary challenges”, and “Cultural heritage and contemporary architecture – Town-building principles”.
