22 new schools built, 7 basically repaired in Gabala for past 7 years due to support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation

In frame of the State Programme on Socioeconomic Development of Regions and the New School to New Azerbaijan Programme of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, for the past 7 years new schools have been built in 22 villages of Gabala, schools No1 and 4 in the town, No4 in Nij settlement, also in Chukhur Gabala, Zalam, Boyuk Piralli and Charkhana villages basically repaired and equipped with latest devices.

In Nij settlement, construction of the 360-seat building for School No3 due to public funds and the 400-seat building for School No2 with support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation is underway. 24 schools in the district have heat supply by boiler houses, 40 schools possess computer room. Schoolchildren in Gabala use 450 computers (1 computer per 25 pupils). 77% of pedagogic employees at the schools have higher education.
